Jennifer Garner has a way everything adorable – even make dinner. On Instagram, she gushed about her favorite cookbook Modern comfort food. It’s her weekend getaway — and she read it like a novel before delving into actual cooking.

“Everything here is EXACTLY what you want to cook and exactly what you want to eat right now,” Garner said before giving us an episode of The Pretend Cooking Show she does for the gram. She made Ina’s crispy chicken with lemon orzo – and brought in a surprise guest.

On video, Jennifer walks through the recipe with Ina virtually looking over her shoulder, giving her tips and advice along the way. And like any good fangirl would, while Jennifer waits for the chicken to finish cooking, she finishes the chocolate Oreo ice cream recipe she pulled from the book – showing the results to Ina. But it’s not one of her cooking trophies – Jennifer clearly can’t get enough of this book as she also pulls out the frozen Paloma she made using Ina’s recipe. And there’s so much more to take from this book — 85 recipes in all!
